Today I'm grateful for Priesthood blessings and a good night's sleep :)

I love writing music, but I also love positive and uplifting ideas. This is my blog to talk about my music, my feelings, and positive thoughts to help keep me - and hopefully you - motivated. Motivated to be the best we can be. To help others. To love friend and foe.

Time and Place
It has been way too long since I've written. This winter has been a hard one for us in that it seems like we are all sick every other week...thus it has taken a toll on my blogging (among other things). Haha. Can't wait for spring!! It has also taken it's toll on my music - hard to sing when you are sick. But I am excited for spring, more sunshine and more enthusiasm.
I am a firm believer that there is a time and place for everything in our lives and that if God doesn't want something to happen when we want it to happen - it wont happen until He is ready. I don't know if that makes sense - but I feel like there is a time and place for everything and unless we are prepared and ready - in the way God wants us to be - we aren't ready for the next step in our lives no matter how much we want it. A lot of times I want to know what is going to happen next, but I have realized that if I knew the future I wouldn't pay proper attention to the present. I would probably be so worried about being ready for whatever was coming, that I wouldn't do the things that are the most important to prepare for whatever it is - like daily scripture study, prayer, pondering, and family. I'm grateful for God's gentle reminders and His patience with my imperfections and my slow learning. In short, I'm grateful for His tender mercies.
